I was wondering if you guys could figure out which purse Preity’s carrying. The belt is Fendi.

Hey PZFC,

The belt is indeed a Fendi (which Preity wore again with another black dress during Cannes 2007) and as for the clutch from the ‘Apne Premiere’, it is a Bottega Veneta from the Spring 2007 collection. It wasn’t the first time she gave us this look. Earlier that year at Cannes, Preity wore the same belt with a sheath dress and another BV clutch.

If you are looking to buy the clutch, it will be hard to come across considering it is a couple of seasons old unless of course there is an occasional listing on eBay. 😉

As much as I love the metallic Shantanu-Nikhil dress (a variation of which you can see here), pairing it with the metallic BV knot was a bit much for me. As for Koena, hate the shoulder detail. Neither gets our vote in this face off. Who gets yours?

Back in April, Shilpa Shetty and Jesse Jackson attended a dinner to which Ms. Shetty wore a Donna Karan dress. She dressed up the dress with a belt and paired the outfit with a black Bottega Veneta satin knot.

If you dig the dress, Outnet has it on sale. That is if you have $897 bucks to spare because even at 50% that is the dress’ final price! 😛

Anu Deewan was back in another Moschino Cheap And Chic dress at the recent ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ success bash… She paired her dress with a lime Bottega Veneta Knot, also seen in orange on Preity Zinta!

If the clutch tugs at your heart strings and you can afford to have it tug at your purse strings, then grab it while you can considering its on sale! 🙂

Of Dhoti Pants and Strapless Tops

Both, Shweta and Narayani ended up wearing dhoti pants and strapless tops to delItalia’s first anniversary brunch event. I still haven’t warmed up to dhoti/harem pants (and by that I mean wearing them myself), but having said that, I do like Shweta’s printed top and white dhoti way more than the bright combo worn by Narayani. Just wished Shweta had given the metallic BV hobo a miss.

What about you? Who do you like better?
