Wearing an Aadnevik strapless dress, Ananya attended a Style Icon awards event in Mumbai. Having never been a fan of the jarring high-low design pattern, I wasn’t already a fan of this dress. Add to that the sparkly elements and there was no love on my side for this outing.

At the NMACC India in Fashion Exhibit event, Ananya was seen in a black and gold Rahul Mishra creation from his couture collection. Given that this gown is so bottom heavy, it was a tricky one to pull off but she did so with ease. Kudos for keeping everything else simple and letting the gown do all the talking. I also expect that not everyone is going to like the gown. I, in fact, didn’t like it when I saw it on the runway but not minding it here.

Ananya and Khushi attended the Dior show in Mumbai, wearing, you guessed it, head-to-toe Dior. I wish both sets of separates had been styled differently but Ananya’s look was definitely the weaker one here, I much preferred Khushi’s look over Ananya’s. Had Ananya skipped the pearl choker and opted for sandals/slingbacks/ballet flats, basically anything else over those loafers, the look would’ve stood a chance.

Wearing a pastel chikankari sari by Manish Malhotra, Ananya partook in her cousin’s wedding festivities. She looked nice! (I’d like this appearance so much more if the blouse was different. I get that the era of itty-bitty blouses is here, and it’s going nowhere. The geriatric millennial in me is however never going to warm up to it, but that’s a ‘me’ problem. )
