The cast of Jolly LLB celebrated with a success bash and we’ll admit we were a lil’ apprehensive about what we’d see Amrita in. She surprised us, in a good way, by doing casual in black denims, coral top and a bouclé jacket by Mango.

We’ll take her this appearance over the bad desi outfits any day!

Amrita attended the premiere of Jolly LLB wearing a beige lehenga by Neeta Lulla. Calling the outfit bad would just be an understatement but we’re just going to leave it at that.

With this latest sighting of hers, Amrita debuted a new (to this blog) designer, Alkesh Ramwani. In a rosette accented tule dress paired with a purple embellished velvet jacket, Amrita started off 2013 on a rather dated and tacktastic note. But it’s only January, we are still holding on to hope.

Jewelry from Curio Cottage completed her look.

P.S: When done right, the whole jacket + dress combination (dressed up or down) is a great idea to give a look bit of a contemporary twist. Right however being the operative word.
