Day two and day three festivities saw Alia in Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and Arpita Mehta lehengas, but the latter was my favorite of the two.

What was a massive disappointment though was that loud Sil-Sila co-ord set she wore while leaving Jamnagar. Comfy it may have been but the print was so very garish. Did not like.

At a press meet unveiling an upcoming awards show’s tropy, Alia was seen in a brown cutout blazer and black pants. The part blazer/part lace design was quite confusing and one that I didn’t like. Did you?

Rashmika attended a wedding reception on Friday wearing a sequin Sawan Gandhi sari, one that we also saw on Alia last year at the Advani/Malhotra reception. Both kept the rest of the outfit simple. Question is, prefer Rashmika’s sleek bun or Alia’s free-flowin’ do.

In Sabyasachi

Alia was seen at the screening of her upcoming series in a Sabyasachi sari paired with multi-strand pearl necklace and studs. While this is an absolutely classic combo that I love, it didn’t feel like Alia was wearing the sari but rather Sabyasachi presenting a look where Alia was just the model. Oddly, I didn’t feel this way with the recent Abu Sandeep sari outing.
