Aishwaya attended a launch event for a watch brand that she endorses in Rome and was seen in two gowns, first in a Ziad Germanos and then in a Nedret Taciroglu. Between the two much preferred her in the simpler gown and the eye-makeup there was a lot more flattering. I wasn’t a fan of the stark white eye-shadow that she sported in the Taciroglu.

For the ‘What Women Want’ taping at a local radio station, Kajol picked Amanda Wakeley separates to wear. Her accessories for the occasion included jewelry from Misho and Aquamarine, and pair of Jimmy Choo pumps.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of this look. The shirt seemed too stark for the skirt, it just didn’t work! And the long tassel/tie at the neck worn loose was especially problematic. Also, given that the skirt itself had a sash/tassel at the waist also worn loose, the two seemed to compete/clash with each other rather than complement one another. This was bit of a miss.

Wearing a Swapnil Shinde, Surveen attended the GQ Men Of The Year Awards with jewellery from Gehna and Diosa. The gown itself may not be everyone’s cup of tea but there was no denying that she looked good!

In Absence Of Colour

It was an Absence Of Colour suit (one that she teamed with a Hunkemöller bralette) for Kirti while at a recent awards event. Her accessories for the evening included jewelry from Anmol and Kaj Fine Jewellery and, Christian Louboutin pumps.

The suit has bit of a Mugler vibe, and I like that. It was an interesting choice and Kirti made it work. I just wish she had picked anything but that brown-toned lip color to wear; it really dulled the look. Red might have been too predictable and campy but a deep oxblood would’ve played off the neutral palette nicely.

Surveen attended the IReel Awards and the Vogue Awards this week sporting two very different looks at the events. The IReel Awards saw her in a one-shoulder gown by Swatee Singh sporting a dark lip and the Vogue Awards in a princess-ey Dolly J strapless gown.

Not that I cared for the Swatee Singh gown to begin with but the Jolie-esque leg didn’t help either. Much preferred her in the Dolly J gown. You?
