In Gaurang

Tabu attended Richa and Ali’s wedding reception wearing a lehenga by Gaurang. The dupatta seemed a bit stiff and not as flowy as it should’ve been but she looked lovely nevertheless.

    • @Virasat, ha, true. Thanks for reminding me of a good movie.
Too many patterns and colors, plus the colors don’t seem to belong together. Even Tabu can’t save it. Love her hair and sweet smile though.

  1. I really like this outfit, it’s rich and colorful. I can’t quite figure out what it is, but there’s too much color block going on for Tabu statuesque, or the dupatta hasn’t been draped well.

  2. It’s a beautiful lehenga, sort like a half saree..Didn’t suit her at all, I can’t place my mind whether it’s the whole fitting or that skirt..disappointing

  3. It is too much of a random mish mash of color to make sense.

What in the world is this color story trying to tell?

Love the roses on Tabu’s hair and her smile.

      • No. It’s a beautiful outfit, the Color blocking distracts you but if you can see it as whole you’ll get it. I was disappointed with Richa’s outfits all the way, she’s the bride so it’s alright, but this outfit is the least of what can be worn if not better. It’s not bridal but it’s better.

  5. P&P, would you consider covering people like Rekha Bharadwaj, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, Shabana Azmi, Gauri Shinde once in a while? All of them have such unique, very Indian and craft-centric styles. Actual genuine personal style, rather than stylist curated one. Would be nice. Thanks.

  6. Clash of varied patterns and colours here. Looks like a creation from leftovers and then assembled into one single outfit. Reminds me of a girl child’s ensemble where skirt comes from Mom’s saree, blouse from someone’s and dupatta from another’s.
