Sari Style
Wearing an ivory sari with a fun colorful polka-dot blouse, Swara attended a recent event. With her hair partially pinned back, she finished out the look with silver jewelry. Personally, we’d have skipped the necklace since the earrings made enough of a statement by themselves. That said, it in no way took away from the fact that the actor looked nice.

Is she discussing some bowling techniques in the last pic? lol. She looks like Rani Mukerjhee in that.
She looks lovely. I think necklace and earrings were both needed.
Kills it!
Hate the way the saree is wrinkled at the border. Shabby draping.
Love this look!
p&p, in many parts of India, women always wear something on the ears and the neck. Skipping on one of the two, especially when u are wearing a traditional saree would make the look incomplete
True. P&P act as if they don’t know the traditions of India and repeat saying the same thing which gets boring.
Very true but they do give free pass to few particular people even if they load on ears, neck, hands wherever including monotonous dressing. lol.
Haha!
I agree. I know some people in the South, especially 2 generations ago firmly believe that if a girl passes the age of puberty, she has to wear a gold chain and a earring. If she is married than bangles (atleast 2) are a must.
Yes people all over India has that same culture, which continues even now.
She looks great! The sari could have been draped more tightly, however, especially around her bust area.
Draping is bad…great jewelry though.
Not feeling this look one bit…
