Sonam attended an event in Dubai for a watch brand but not before sharing her look and announcing her second pregnancy on social media. For the event it was a vintage piece, this time an Escada skirt suit from 1988 designer by Margaretha Ley. The suit was also seen on Princess Diana back in the day. Like most of us have agreed, Rhea’s vintage sourcing works best for her sister. On others, it doesn’t always. Sonam looked great here.

Sonam has the height, modelesque trim and self confidence – that’s probably why.
I dont think its a Rhea thing, its just that the look she curates can only look good on someone who fits the above bill.
it’s like victoria beckham’s designs look best on her. rhea is really magic on sonam. she should just stop working with others.

I have a question…and I’m sorry for being so ignorant…but when it’s sourced vintage, does that mean sonam is wearing the exact same dress that Princess Diana wore? Like not a copy but the exact dress?
May be sourced from old inventory/stock of the said designer. That’s what my understanding suggests.
Since we don’t know which vendor she sourced this from, can’t be certain if it is the same one. Unlike Kim K who wore the actual Marilyn Monroe dress.
That escada bag is such an elegant piece.
It looks totally different on D. On Sonam it looks like most suits and skirts.. or louder.
She looks so beautiful and elegant! Unpopular opinion : she carries it better than Lady Di (looks like an air crew uniform on latter!). Are we to read into the pink 😉
