Wearing Balmain, Sonakshi attended a store launch in Mumbai last evening. Her accessories for the evening included jewelry from Misho and Truffle Collection sandals.
While I know that these biker shorts are all the rage, it’s one trend that I wish hadn’t seen a comeback. Props to Sonakshi for faring better than most others would but, try as I might, I just can’t warm up to this look.

The Biker shorts are wrong for this look. It looks as if she is dressed to waist and then the balance is a collage from a casual outing 🙁
For a second, I thought that tattoo was part of her sandal design, which i loved, but realized very soon the new rage of transparent footwear taken her on too. I personally can’t warm myself up to these transparent shoes these days. Speaking of biker shorts, yes its a rage among preteens but never knew its with adults too. To her credit, she looks refreshing neck up.

Biker shorts are in rage…among the great community of bikers. When did Bollywood and the fashion world “bike” into this party?
Yoicks. For those of you too young to know this, these knee length knickerbocker monstrosity was called a “pedal pusher” back in the 80s. It was ghastly then as well. One trend I had hoped would not get resurrected.
Another trend, vintage 70s, is of the knotted shirt – which I see Rakul has exhumed in De De Pyaar.

different finishing would have helped like a pony and some funky shoes/pumps, like the jacket though.
