She does look nice. Although this is a saree-blouse combination I would wear for a festival or an engagement or some such party, not for a serious conclave by a media house. The idea to wear a saree to this was sound, but I can think of many, many other kinds of sarees that would have been more suited. The film industry does like to make everything filmy!

WHAT is “Punit Balana” about it? It looks like a regular pink satin ki thaan with a dhinchak borker sewed on. Why do Indian designers are delusionary and assume they are creative about the saree?

They could have lent a halter blouse that would have shown embroidery on the blouse as well.

Ok, I’ll admit it: i can’t believe it. I really can’t. 1) it’s a normal sari. Like my mom, grandmom, aunts whoever used to wear. 2) with a normal blouse, like see above 3) with jewellery, see above, and 4) with hair/make up etc like see above……is this real? is it a dream? Is Sobhita time travelling? Seriously, she looks gorgeous….
She has a way around sarees.
She brings an old world charm to her saree looks.
She looks lovely here though the saree is nothing much to write home about.
