Wearing a pale-hued Abu Sandeep sari, Shweta attended the Swades Foundation event held last night. While the updo and diamonds complemented the look perfectly, the clutch (not to be confused with the stole also in her hands) stuck out like a sore thumb. Minus that, she looked lovely.

Shweta’s saree seems to be missing the “glamour” quotient, despite the gorgeous diamonds (which just doesn’t look that great with the saree). I normally like simplicity but this saree seems to age her. This is quite a surprise for me because normally Shweta never gets it wrong.

The saree diminishing the glow of the beautiful face and the beautiful necklace both at the same time. Major gripe with how she has her hair as well. Total miss – match, individually everything is good.
Loved the saree and updo on her – she looked great ! Don’t like that necklace one bit – not the right bling for me. Does anyone know why she would be holding a stole though she is wearing a saree coz the stole does not even complement her saree – so wondering what it’s for ??
Simple and elegant…No wow factor but nothing to complain either…
She’s way under-dressed for the event just like the ladies above were OTT. And that clutch is incongruous with the whole look – she might as well have carried a lap dog.
