It was a family affair at the music launch of Shamitabh with dad Kamal and Shruti in attendance lending their support to Akshara. For the event, Shruti wore an Arpita Mehta lehenga with a matching mirrored grey potli and hair in german style braids.
Between the hairdo and the sheer choli with its stark lining, the overall look just felt overkill. A simpler black top and maybe our eyes wouldn’t feel like they were being drawn in every direction.

This looks like a grey version of a Princess Jasmine outfit. I really don’t like it, especially the choli which looks like a bustier with a sheer blouse.
Gorgeous she is. She looks glamorous, on any one else this could not work, but she does make even that sheer choli work.
