Sari Style

It was a paithani sari for Shraddha as she attended the Diwali party at the Bachchans’. Going for the classic, she rounded out her look with traditional gold jewelry and flowers in her hair. I wouldn’t change a thing; she looked lovely.

  1. Oh! She reminded me of Matia Goretti’s look for Ritesh Deshmukh’s wedding. How beautiful our weaves and vibrant colours are!

  2. This is “Diwali excess“ done right. She wore bangles and jhumkas and a choker (most times, the verdict here is to focus on only one) in traditional style and looks absolutely beautiful! Sometimes it’s about trusting combinations that have been our heritage for centuries rather than making every appearance an experiment or show of wealth.
Major love for Shraddha here 🙂

  3. Absolute love! The sane draping, jewel colours, the right jewelry, appropriate hair n make up, no pout- this is how people used to carry themselves at some point in history! That sleeve length doesn’t look good on everyone, but she’s rocking it!

  5. So pretty Shraddha kapoor looks in Paithani saree.. Hats off to the weavers of Maharashtra who meticulously make this Paithani saree for months on their traditional looms… No other silk saree can match the beauty of our royal paithani

  6. Uff so beautiful! Love the traditional styling, especially the flowers in hair. I used to think Shraddha was very dull, but really liking her style choices in the last year or so.

  7. Breathtakingly beautiful. Hair neatly tied with a gajra, beautiful colors off-setting the antique heavy gold jewelry and a smoky eye. It has all come together just perfectly.

  9. She looks absolutely beautiful. So refreshing to see a traditional paithani saree which does not carry any designer label. And I am sure she stood out the most (in the best way possible) in a sea of MMs, Sabyas and Raw Mangos – which all look like each other.

  12. Happy to be a saree convert after seeing this. I always thought that shortt girls don’t pull off sarees effortlessly but I am definitely going to give it a try now! It all lies in the styling as well.
