Yes it is over the top but, this brand of ‘glam’ is right up Ms. Shetty’s alley. She made every bit of that look work for her.

But why does everyone have this awful slicked back hairstyle at this event ?
The restrained hair makes this look classy, her usual 90s voluminous hair would have made this trashy.
She is working it! Makeup is really nicely done and for a change Shilpa has shown restraint with her styling and that makes all the difference

At least her sheer is not tacky like the rest
