In Alexandre Vauthier
At the party hosted by Sidhwanis, newly wed Shibani was seen in an icy blue gown by Alexandre Vauthier, one that she wore with ankle-strap sandals and a top knot. That is quite a sexy gown but for some reason, the look seems to fall flat for me. Shibani wasn’t quite pulling off those power shoulders and the footwear was a downer.
Did you like?

I actually love the powder blue on her, even the shoulders seem fine , I think the asymmetrical ruched gathering is a little bit of a letdown and the footwear. But love the makeup and the smile
So the theme of the evening WASN’T black haha
Do you think all the stylists have a whatsapp group and decide on a theme on their own?
The theme was black for the guests.
She looks neat and tidy and that’s enough for me!!!
Love the colour and she looks so pretty and radiant. Would’ve picked anotherfootwear & done a side-swept open hair. However, in the larger scheme of things it doesn’t even matter – it’s her wedding celebration and she looks beautiful.
She waw actually one of the better dressed people.
yes, power shoulders are a bit much. that neckline is not quite flattering. silver footwear/ a different shade of blue would have looked better
I liked everything except for the shoes, those are ugly.
Shoes are complete mismatch, I know nothing about fashion and I agree too
P&P,
She prolly wore those shoes thinking “P&P are going to write me up for it” 😛 Looks like a “OK I am just going to wear this” decision
Bar the shoes, she looks absolutely lovely, plus I love that shade of blue she’s wearing..
She looks so radiant…yeh footwear for sure was a bad choice.
A thinner shoulder padding would have given a neater look. This looks very bulky and superhero suit-ish.
I feel the gown is a size too big, going by the pooling at the ankles and the extra fabric under the armpits. It’s a nice color but the design itself is not that great. The poor styling doesn’t help either. She looks happy though 🙂
Shibani has a killer body and can’t believe she picked this – nothing is working. Though the newlyweds look happy, best wishes to them!
Underwhelming. The colour washes her out and the footwear does nothing to add to the look.
The footwear really really brings the whole look down .
Only grace jones can do justice to this silhouette , nevertheless she looks hot
It looks kinda tight and “squashed in,” all the folds and fussiness.
Bad dress , shoes are worse . She needs a stylist right away
I thought you guys do not negatively comment on the bride’s attire during their special occasions.
The wedding is over.
Dress is fine. The footwear has a “chappal” vibe making the whole look fall flat!
I curious to know what shoes do you think would have worked for this outfit? A more glammy stiletto? Boots?
It’s a tough one!
It is really not practical nor fun to wear stilettos for a after-wedding party where you are planning to relax and dance all night.
I completely understand why she would choose block heels. As a shorter person, I prefer block heels and wedges to high stilettos or kitten heels (not enough heel height lol)…… specially for informal parties.
I do not like her make up at all, and kills every look of heres. That neutral makes her look very washed and gives an artificially shiny/ metallic sort of effect to every look. Combine that with a very blah blue, and nothing stands out, even the structured shoulder or the waddle chappals.
Some Earthy or regular matt makeup would be such a refreshing change.
The base makes them look like bathroom slippers. The color is nice though !
