i felt the same when i saw Ms. Gill wear this couple of days back.
They both look beautiful as they are both beautiful ladies, their makeup was perfect as well as their shoe choice.
Look closely at iris leaves they look like purple cabbage too in isolation.
I dislike this. It makes me think of purple cabbage. The kind sometimes used in coleslaw. I do not see iris. The red version felt better to me.

What does even looking fake mean here. That girl had millions health issues and I think she looks great after a long time.

the dress went unnoticed on Shenaz . Selena wore it with a lot of panache. i guess it’s the personality & the innate stardom
Selena wore it better . And yes , she has international appeal which grabs more eyeballs . Some of us literally grew up watching her on Disney and even then we copied her style . She even had her own merchandise – clothes , perfume , bags and shoes . Collab with international brands like Coach .
And her music …. I’m sure you’ve heard it atleast on reels and tik tok if not a fan .
Well no offence to Shehnaz either , she’s yet to get there and she just started .
To give you perspective , a Sabyasachi worn by Aish would garner more attention as against the same worn by Jahnavi Kapoor .
