In Sabyasachi

Wearing a Sabyasachi sari, Rani attended the Jain Malhotra wedding reception on Tuesday evening. In a way, I like that she didn’t opt for a Sabyasachi bag here as well but that tiny bag also wasn’t quite cutting it. Neither was that Chanel brooch (squint and you can see it) that was so unnecessary.

Other than that, she looked lovely.

  2. That tiny bag is enough to carry all of Rani’s fashion sense….though here, she is looking quite nice…quite surprisingly and despite that wierd doll purse.

  3. Bag? What bag? My phone won’t fit. Maybe this is a new genre of lipstick cases.
Love the saree and blouse though. I like vintage sabya..

  4. The sari lovely and glad that Rani resisted the urge to drown herself in jewelry. However she did not want folks to forget that she us Mrs. Richie Rich hence she had to wear the brooch.
Meanwhile, I dont know what is worse. The resurgence of the fanny pack or this teeny tiny purse?

    • Yes it is an organza sari. I have the same one in same colour with silver zari border from Nalli silks. Sabya has added the shiny border on a plain sari though, to make it ‘designer’. It is a dreamy beautiful sari. Actually the attached border takes the softness away from the soft, smooth and delicate sari.

I think Rani is the best dressed out of all.

  5. I think Rani gets a pass on the typical Sabya styling is because she was instrumental in introducing Sabya to Bollywood. He owes her that much. And thank god for that coz she rocks Sabya designs with her own personal style.

  6. Of all the blingy sightings, this would be my favorite look from the wedding. Karisma in raw mango would’ve been slightly favored had she draped the saree better

  7. Thank you dressing up as if you are attending someone else’s wedding and not your own. For that alone, I don’t care for the bag. Also, thank you for not letting the designer dictate your hairstyle.

  8. I think she looks lovely. The saree is very pretty and perfect for the occasion. I am glad she doesn’t follow the instruction manual for styling tht must come with a Sabya saree.

  10. The soft minty green color, the material, the print.. so dreamy and lovely. One of the best sari- blouse attires I’ve ever seen. Would look good on every shape, color and size.
