Rajshri was seen at the screening of Farzi in a green and red cotton/silk sari. If the sari hadn’t been pinned up the way it was, it probably would’ve stopped the pleats from flaring out the way did. Can’t say I like the sari either itself just cuz am not a fan of wide borders but it was nice to see a sari at the screening.

exactly what I felt too! This looks like traditional and typical madhurai sungudi saree.. That border is too broad for that matter, because they can go much broader in traditional weaves.. feels like un informed non thoughtful comment by hhc

This is actually very lovely, broad border or not. A simple cotton saree worn like it should be and with a proper blouse and not a bra. Wish other celebrities would wear hand loom Sarees once in a while instead of awful designer Sarees
It takes confidence to wear regular saree in a regular drape with a regular blouse in todays world of designer saree and skimpy blouses. . Double thumbs up!

This is exactly how I remember my grandmom and mom wear their sarees for work and even family functions. Nothing wrong with how she’s dressed. Very nice to see her step out like this.
