For Kriti, it was a Gavin Miguel gown. Slicked back hair, diamond jewelry and strappy sandals rounded out the actor’s look.

I am not at all taken by the dress; between the ring detail and the lapel-ed halter-neck top half, the look felt like it belonged back in the early noughts. That said though, the color looked great on her. And despite all its faults, Kriti worked every bit of that dress; she cut a striking picture.

In Falguni Shane Peacock

Janhvi picked a custom Falguni Shane Peacock gown for her appearance at a recent Awards event. I want to like this look, but it was hard to.

The contrast between the warm-toned chunky sandals and the cooler tone of the dress didn’t quite work. The matching embellished gloves instead of adding an edge or novelty to the look, only made it look very dated… The color had a big role to play in it! In the end, it looked like Janhvi was cosplaying Ariel (The Little Mermaid) and didn’t do a very good job of it.

At The Awards

For a recent outing, Aahana picked a dress by Label D to wear and, Sai picked one by AKHL.

This has to be a classic case of ‘when bad clothes happen to good people’. That visible zipper at the back of Aahana’s dress really brings down the look several notches; not a fan. A shame because the color looked great on her. As for Sai’s look, I honestly don’t even know where to start with the dress. Let’s just say none of it worked.

It was a missed opportunity for both these lovely ladies.

In Giambattista Valli

Deepika attended the Elle Beauty Awards wearing a Giambattista Valli design featuring a shirt and tulle skirt (the latter being the label’s signature). I am not sure how she looked in person but going by these pics, I dislike how short this outfit makes her look. It definitely didn’t do her any favors. We’ve seen her do way better.

In Akaaro

Wearing Akaaro, Sobhita attended the Elle Beauty Awards on Wednesday evening. First things first, the backdrop at the event has been causing all pictures to come out very dark.

Coming to Ms. Dhulipala, I loved the sari presented on the runway with its plunging neckline and when I see it on her, it isn’t as effective. The color sure was delish. I also wish she hadn’t worn those shoes. As for the make-up, hard to really say anything just because all the pics have been bad.
