In Giambattista Valli

Comment image 30

Deepika attended the Elle Beauty Awards wearing a Giambattista Valli design featuring a shirt and tulle skirt (the latter being the label’s signature). I am not sure how she looked in person but going by these pics, I dislike how short this outfit makes her look. It definitely didn’t do her any favors. We’ve seen her do way better.

  1. I think the shirt is wrong for the skirt which is making the proportions off. And if one is wearing a skirt of that length, then peep toed shoes are the way to go.

  2. What is the blind spot this website’s followers have for DP? Every post criticising her fashion is always met with comments about her face card not declining. This is a fashion commentary blog, not a face blog. No one is denying that DP is a beautiful women, however in most of her red carpet and promotional appearances her face is her only saving grace cause the fashions are not living upto the expectations.

  5. If it had to be a shirt it could’ve been a white t shirt, the Shirt kills the look, she looks soo damn good and fun, I like the idea if the outfit.

  6. The top and the bottom do not go together. She looks like she was in the middle of getting dressed and the fire alarm went off and she had to evacuate the building.

  7. Sorry, she looks like a cake-topper.
The shoes are all wrong and that shirt does not go with that skirt at all – it’s very business on the top, princess-y at the bottom. And they clash!
Maybe a softer shirt would’ve been better – the bright stiff white with `black letters and black belt gives very karate-ish vibe as someone mentioned in the comments above.

Hair and make-up is spectacular though!
