Promotions for her upcoming movie saw Ms. Apte in a Shivan and Narresh mesh cutout top paired with denims and a citron pant suit. Between the two, preferred her in the pantsuit a whole lot more. As for that top, she fared far better in it than the model on the runway presenting the top for the first time.

Final day of her promotions in Mumbai saw Ms. Chopra wear an orange leather dress paired with orange pumps. This could’ve been a real sharp look had that hair been in a nice ponytail or even perhaps a messy braid. As is, yet again, the hair took over and it was hard to appreciate anything else.

Shilpa helped inaugurate an art exhibition on Thursday wearing a linen Anavila sari. I have to admit, her opting for a linen sari and then to wear her hair up in a bun with flowers was quite a curveball and made for a very welcome change. Just wish she’d picked simple medallion studs instead of those flashy danglers. She did look nice!
