Wearing an Ekaya sari with a lace-up blouse, Bhumi attended the Filmfare OTT Awards on Wednesday evening. As much as I love Ekaya, was neither feeling the motif on this sari nor that blouse. Not to mention, I have some fatigue over seeing Ms. Pednekar and her non-stop crop top appearances.

Abuse of the grace of a saree and of a saree altogether. These days ‘looks’ are increasingly becoming hungry.
What’s wrong with our designers??! Can’t they keep saari out of their dirty design clothings?! Please keep sarees away from your experiments!

She also just holds her breath in and it’s so uncomfortable to look at. Just breathe darling it’s ok.
Even though Bhumi has not been the best dressed but her styling with Mohit was so much better than whatever Rhea has been doing to her.
That saree draped well in the classic style with a sleeveless solid black or blue blouse could have been such a good look. 🙁

What a beautiful saree! Overstyling, I mean bad styling is just ruining it! Can’t these celebs and their stylists just let the saree be!

This is in such bad taste – the midriff with contouring makeup , forced revealing top , the drape . If you aren’t sure of a look , just say no to your stylist . And if Rhea is your stylist , look her in the eye , turn your head to your left , then to your right . Do this thrice . She’ll never ring your doorbell again
This kind of dressing also shows self objectification of women.
Shriya wore a similar saree – in a different colour in April, 2022 and fared much better!

Not the kind of design that comes to mind when I think of Ekaya, but even an okay outfit can be salvaged by styling, draping and sheer elegance.
The only star-style pairing giving me more grief than Bhumi-Rhea is Deepika-LV. Where’s the synergy dude
