We think Neeta looked quite nice at the store launch in a basic skirt and top… strictly relatively of course! Not a fan of the ruffled details on the top or the matching green eye shadow. Having said that, you only have to spot her at her collection preview to see why we like the former look better than the latter!

When you are an Ambani, chances are you don’t have to wait till Autumn to wear something that was shown in the Autumn collection. You get to wear it right away and that was the case with Neeta, who was spotted in an Anamika Khanna creation right off the runway at the IPL Gala Dinner in Cape Town.
I have to say that I am quite surprised to see her in an Anamika creation because she normally dresses in traditional silhouettes and even though this one isn’t as drastic as regular Anamika creations (see here and here), it is definitely different than Neeta’s regular fare.

Also attending the IPL Gala Dinner in Capetown in South Africa was Preity Zinta who wore a white Manish Malhotra sari from the designer’s recent collection previewed at Lakme Fashion Week held last month.
Although, the sari looks quite like what Kareena wore to the 2009 Filmfare Awards, Preity’s is actually different. Hers doesn’t have the extra design on the body that Kareena had. You can check out Kareena’s Manish Malhotra sari, also shown on the runway in a different color, here.

The BCBG tiered satin dress has been seen on many a ladies and the latest to wear one was singer Tulsi Kumar to the 2009 Radio Mirchi Awards. Although the hair was quite dated, I think the blue looks great on her. I must applaud her for choosing a more mature outfit considering we have seen her in much worse (see here and here) and its good to see her take baby steps in the right direction instead of the wrong!
