Lisa Haydon covers Elle India’s May edition in a Shrivan Narresh swimsuit seen first on the Kingfisher calendar on Anjali and later in a variation on Nethra in The Man magazine. Seeing all these sexy ladies is making me regret having that extra (and another extra) piece of bread at lunch. 😛

Sari Style

At the Time’s 100 Most Influential People Gala, it was great to see some saris on the red carpet. We loved Anusha Bhagat’s emerald green sari but why-oh-why did she pair it with a Gucci tote with pink handles? Pandora founder Tim Westergren walked with a lady who also wore a sari. Despite that her sari wasn’t worn well with the pleats being way off, she had all her basics right with a cream shawl and a peach clutch to complement the look.(Am still trying to track down who the lady is).

Gosh, if only Anusha had carried a clutch. Am in love with her green sari.

Of Tie And Dye

While Ms. Shetty wore a lehariya tie/dye pink sari to the sets of Zara Nachke Dikha, Raima wore a bandhini tye/dye pink one with an orange contrast to a Titan event. Question is, which sari do you prefer? (Keep in mind, we are asking bout the sari, not how they wore it. 🙂 )

P.S. Lehariya is a tie/dye that creates a diagonal pattern whereas bandhini is a tie/dye effect that creates diamond patterns.

Celina continues to take her endorsement deal seriously and sports more saris. 😉

It must be the sweltering Heat but am actually liking the easy, summery floral sari on the left. But even the Heat can’t get me to slow down enough to like the look on the right. :p There’s just way too much going on there.

And now for an iced cold drink. *Sigh*
