In Vikram Phadnis

While all the other muses were styled in dresses (and a romper), Perizaad was the lone one in traditional garb.

The last time we all complained of ‘Too-Much‘, not so this time. I love how the jewelry was kept minimal and Perizaad looked absolutely lovely in her Vikram Phadnis lehenga (which in itself wasn’t something we’ve never seen before but one she added so much charm to and, the styling did the rest)!

Shimmer And Shine

Also present at the Blenders Fashion Tour was Shazahn Padamsee who was dressed by Nandita Mahtani in a pewter sequin romper.

While Shazahn looked great, if there’s one thing we would’ve changed, it’d be those sandals.

Clutch Spotting

As far as McQueen’s Skull clutches go, the Union Jack is one of my favorites (the knuckle-duster being the other) and, it’s recent sighting it sure had me smiling!

But let’s talk about the VBH clutch, shall we? How come we haven’t spotted more of our ladies toting them? Started by Vernon Bruce Hoeksema in 01 after having worked for Valentino for 25 years, I find VBH bags incredibly luxurious, minimal and modern.

The lust-list is never at a loss for contenders.

In Nikasha

Accessories designer Malini Agarwalla was spotted in a pair of Nikasha dhoti pants paired with a white top and ofcourse, a clutch from her own collection.

It’s hard to pull of dhoti pants but Malini wears the look really well. We like!

Wearing Her Own

At the Bridal Asia preview, spotted designer Pratima Gaurav in a cheery yellow sari (of her own design) modeling/wearing/showcasing her friend and designer Malini Agarwalla’s accessories.

The sari on it’s own, I loved… With the accessories though, it was all a bit too costume-y and campy for me!

On an aside, how great is the big bindi? Clearly, am a fan!

P.S: You can catch a similar Pratima Gaurav sari on Priya Tanna here.
