In James Ferreira

At the launch of her bespoke services, accessory designer Malini Agarwalla paired a James Ferreira dress with black denims, black pumps and jewelry from her own label.

The dress/tunic didn’t work with those denims and, while we understand the need for jewelry, it (the necklace) just didn’t work with the outfit. It’s hard to imagine those embellished pumps working with anything.

P.S: See this tunic/dress on Simone, Sharmilla, Ammu and Rashmi here and on Kanishtha here.

In Pratima Gaurav

Recently, Pratima Gaurav showcased her cocktail collection at Chamomile where Manasi, Nethra and Malini were photographed dressed in the designer’s saris. Personally, I love these simple, minimalist saris (will exclude the ruffle sari from this list, it isn’t for me).

Have a favorite look?

Ditto!

Spotted first on jewellery designer Malini Agarwalla, this James Ferreira was seen also on designer Pratima Bhatia. Not a fan of the ruched detail but of the two prefer it on Malini. You?

In Nikasha

Accessories designer Malini Agarwalla was spotted in a pair of Nikasha dhoti pants paired with a white top and ofcourse, a clutch from her own collection.

It’s hard to pull of dhoti pants but Malini wears the look really well. We like!

Wearing Her Own

At the Bridal Asia preview, spotted designer Pratima Gaurav in a cheery yellow sari (of her own design) modeling/wearing/showcasing her friend and designer Malini Agarwalla’s accessories.

The sari on it’s own, I loved… With the accessories though, it was all a bit too costume-y and campy for me!

On an aside, how great is the big bindi? Clearly, am a fan!

P.S: You can catch a similar Pratima Gaurav sari on Priya Tanna here.
