Although the black and white felt very Chanel-esque, Freida attended the 18th Annual Hamptons Film Festival in a Resort 2011 Marc Jacobs dress.

The applique detailing on the dress is just so exquisite, but unfortunately, while the dress length was perfect for the model, on Freida it feels just too long and loses some of its charm.

What a disappointment after two good dress picks and what irks me more is that odd length. It’s neither here nor there. A floor-length version would’ve at least made it feel like a kaftan sorta and given off more of a relaxed vibe. Like I said, neither here nor there.

Props to Ms. Sen for changing it up and veering off of black, but that hardly makes this look a success. As cheery as the colors are, the draped jersey dress is pretty darn unsightly.
