Doing The Rounds

What’s with these ill-fitting, none-too-flattering brocade kurtas on Vidya? And why won’t she quit ’em? In comparison, Rani fared a lot better in her denims when the duo made an appearance on a TV show while promoting their upcoming movie.

In Twos- Part Deux!

Not Quite.

At the Jimmy Choo anniversary event, do wish Simone had chosen a different pair of heels and thicker pair of tights (camera flashes did her no favors)… Of the two appearances though, much preferred her look at the Knighthood. But, and you know there’s a “But”… As great as she looked, do wish she either went with the animal-print pumps and a black clutch or, held on to the gold clutch and opted for neutral pumps just cause rest of her look was so restrained and elegant.

Fitted Vs Flared

I was in doubts whether the anarkali seen on Madhuri was a Sabyasachi or not. While the velvet and mixture of patterns are very Sabya, the gold patti along the skirt is what threw us off. (Update: It is a Sabya. Thanks for the confirmation everyone.)

No doubts about the fitted churidaar suit though. That was a trademark Sabya and we’ve got to say, the fitted silhouette looks so much better on her! Which look do you prefer?

A laidback (literally) Padma starts of Vogue India’s 2011 series in a white Chanel dress. You like? We’re hoping the editorial makes up for the cover.
