We had seen this Sabya sari on Shriya before (on the runway) and we couldn’t gush enough over it then. And while we are glad she got to keep the sari, wish she hadn’t worn it so. Sigh. Such a lovely sari only to be let-down by the drape.
Vidya was in a Sabya sari too, no surprises there. She opted for a relatively unembellished, simple black number that she paired with some dramatic jewelry.

Why point Shriya alone for the filmy-kinda-drape, when Vidya with her see-through saree is also doing the same ?
Cos firstly, vidya doesnt have a half boob show and secondly the drape at the arms is not as bad as on shriya.
exactly!!! no comparing the two here. shriya is trying too hard. she looked SO good on the runway, but trying to look sexy in this saree along with bad foundation is just not working!

I cant believe what a huge diff the runway look and this makes (refering to Shreya). But do love her make up and hair looks healthy.

I like Shriya’s saree but after saying nice things about her in a previous post where she (mercifully) didn’t do the one-boobie show drape, I feel a bit let down!
Vidya looks gorgeous; for the sake of splitting hair, I would have chosen different earings.

Not just the drape, the neck piece is horrendous, the hair is a mess and she could totally do with some lip colour.

shriya looks pretty nice. of course you cant look like on the runway, where the lighting, make up etc looks perfect

I prefer Shriya. I think she looks charming. Vidya Balan’s neck-piece is ghastly. The make up is horrible. The hair as always looks unkempt. Orange nail paint to match with the border, like really?
