When we first saw the Ali Mahdavi illustrations depicting Mallika’s gown, we were wondering just how much butt cleavage would be handed to us. Surprisingly, it wasn’t a lot. In fact, it was none. Yes, there was skin show but what did you expect. This is Mallika we’re talking about.

If we ignore the back, the color worked for her and neck up she looked good. But, we can’t quite ignore the back, can we? 😛

Making appearances in character were these ladies with Deepika sporting her bindaas look as ‘Veronica’ from Cocktail and Sonakshi her desi one from Rowdy Rathore.

Who else thinks these appearances are just too much over-exposure. A cricket commentary show?

Doing fusion was Ms. Chadda at the Gangs of Wasseypur photocall in a white maxi with gold embroidery at the bust. The length made this one a Not Quite for us. Would’ve liked it a lot more if it was floor length.

New bride Reema picked a strapless gown for the Gangs of Wasseypur photocall. Am quite disappointed by the look because we see this every now and then and I expected a bit more considering it is Cannes. Also, the cinched waist doesn’t sit right on her.

P.S. I’ve feel like we’ve seen this gown before. BCBG?
