Rani attended an awards event in Kolkata on Thursday evening and was seen in a Sabyasachi sari with gold studs and Bvlgari watch and bangle. The sari with its laal-paar probably was an intentional pick and I loved that. Just wish she hadn’t done that intentional drape. It’s not even like the blouse had any design warrantying it. Minor gripe.

The saree is beautiful, simple and classy. The obsession to drape in such a manner beats me. It ruined the look for me.
Rani in a white & red saree is always a treat! It brings out the quintessential bengali-ness in her.
Agree, she looks gorgeous but the forced one boob drape is sooooo unneccessary and dilutes the sighting. Also +1 to why its a sabya? cant she just support smaller weavers
