WLIFW Spring 2013: Anand Bhushan

It’s A Bird… It’s A Plane… It’s Superman!

Working around the theme of Superman, the designer presented a collection titled ‘Hero’. And once again what stood out most was the cocktail-wear presented. That said, someone sign me up for that textured blue top in Row One (centre).

In Burberry Brit

A London setting and you’re bound to have a Burberry spotting. Happened in Cocktail and we aren’t surprised to see one in Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

WLIFW Spring 2013: Malini Ramani

‘Warriors of the Rainbow’ was Malini’s collection that started off with color and finished off with strong black and gold tribal looks. Mixing Indian influences with that from Africa, Mexico, Tibet and Syria, the collection consisted of maxis, dresses, dhoti pants and flouncy tops.

Having seen her do something similar back in 2010 and better, this collection didn’t quite feel up to par.

In Tucker

One doesn’t expect every designer to always be wearing their own but when you’ve just showcased a collection featuring Aztec prints, isn’t it odd to be spotted wearing one from another label.

Sari Style

It was a sari again (sorta!) for Ms. Bhalla on day four, this time a blue Play Clan one. Am a huge fan of the brand and love that they are launching saris but not quite digging the way Nandini wore hers, over a dress.

You like?
