Sonali attended the wedding on Friday evening wearing a green kurta and churidaar suit from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Ms. Bendre prefers the designer duo’s muted stuff more than their colorful offerings. I loved the kurta and the sequin Chanel bag pairing but the diamond necklace here, not so much. A minor gripe, yes!

Pooja wore a Masaba lehenga to the wedding on Friday and while that skirt was pretty, the hooks on the top not fitting properly was a bit of a distraction.

Madhuri wore a Rimple and Harpreet lehenga to the wedding on Friday and then attended the aashirvad ceremony on Saturday in a gold sari and an ornate maroon blouse from Mrunalini Rao paired with ruby and emerald necklace. The blush was a little heavy handed on the sari outing but she still looked lovely in both!
The sari is looking familiar but can’t quite pinpoint it.

Janhvi attended the wedding wearing a custom gold lehenga from Falguni and Shane Peacock but the point to note here is that the choli was made from real gold temple style neckpieces. Additionally the lehenga skirt also featured a jewelled belt accent. She looked great here.
But, alas with all the show-shaa going around with everyone and their stylist trying to get into superlative mode with their outfits, this look will be quickly forgotten in a few days and that reality is a bit sad. I hope Ms. Kapoor keeps that choli and re-wears this with a sari to get more wear out of an outfit that is almost an heirloom one. One can only hope!

Vignesh and Nayanthara co-ordinated in beige at the Merchant-Ambani wedding and again, I loved seeing Vignesh opt for a Veshti and she looked lovely in her sari. But, I do feel like her sari was a bit too casual for the event.
