In Swapnil Shinde

Sunny wore a sculpted Swapnil Shinde gown to the Filmfare Awards on Saturday evening pairing it with a diamond ring from Anmol. She looked good.

On an aside, why am I getting strong Versace vibes here. I feel like I have this gown before.

In Sabyasachi

At the Filmfare Awards, Kalki was seen in floral embroidered sheer Sabyasachi sari. I’d say the black Gucci clutch seemed like an odd choice considering how jarring it looked but my bigger issue was with the hairdo. It was just too messy.

In Rick Roy

Vidya attended the Filmfare Awards wearing a black sari by Rick Roy, who also did the costume design for her in Tumhari Sulu. At first glance, I wasn’t sure if I liked that additional stripe embroidery running through the middle but the more I look at it, the less I mind it.

She looked nice. Her earrings are from Gehna and ring is from Aquamarine.

In Drenusha Xharra

Wearing a shimmery Drenusha Xharra gown, Richa attended the Filmfares. Smokey eyes and a near nude lip rounded out the actor’s look. She worked every bit of that gown!

In Monsoori

Alia wore a Monsoori gown to the Filmfare Awards and while at first glance the tiered tulle piece looked striking, when looked at more closely, one felt the bodice made her look bigger than she is.

If you looked at the same gown on Kelly Rowland (see here), you’ll notice the bodice straps is more tightly packed which gave the illusion of a narrower waistline.

In Alia’s case, a belt would’ve helped alleviate the issue a bit. Having said that, she did look nice. Like what you see. Catch another picture here.
