At the Khan-Sharma Eid party, Sonakshi was seen in a crystal embellished neon-yellow sari from Itrh. I am on the fence about the color pick for an Eid party but that’s just me nitpicking. She looked nice, nevertheless.

Dia, Tabu and Huma attended the Khan/Sharma Eid party on Eid evening wearing white and gold but that is where the similarities ended. Dia wore a Nafisa Rachel William salwar suit with jootis. Tabu paired her straight fit kurta and pants (Tokree) with thong sandals and Huma was seen in a more ornate anarkali paired with pearl sandals.
They all looked lovely. Whose look are you more drawn to?

With no Priyanka or Deepika attending, all eyes were on Natasha at the Met Gala who wore a custom Sabyasachi sari with a sculpted bustier from Schiaparelli Couture and dripping in jewels from Sabyasachi’s fine line.
We’ve been waiting for a sari sighting like for years, one where the pallu is presented with a dramatic train. Loved finally seeing the sari presented that way. Having said that though, now that we’ve seen the red carpet pics of Natasha vs the heavily touched up ones on IG, am a bit disappointed by the sari itself. I understand that one wouldn’t want the sari to compete with that delish bustier but I found it a bit dull. Instead of being the main lead, it became more a supporting cast and that was a disappointment. The makeup also was underwhelming.

Simone attended the Met Gala wearing Moschino. The bustier was presented on the runway with a pencil skirt and a cropped jacket and was mostly hidden. Not so the case at the Met though, where was paired with a long skirt and a dramatic hooded cape made it (the bustier) the highlight.
I thought she looked great but whether she was on theme (In America: An Anthology of Fashion being the theme), is up in the air. Apart from the fact that the bustier is from the Beauty And The Beast inspired Fall 2022 collection, there really wasn’t a connect.

The 2022 Met Gala is underway as we type this up and in attendance was Mindy wearing a lavender gown by Prabal Gurung. Loved the gown, the finishing touches not so much. They makeup felt heavy handed in some pics and I wasn’t liking that neckpiece either.
