Continuing to lend support to her designer daughter, Neena for a recent appearance of hers picked a Masaba dress to wear. With flowers in her hair, she rounded out the look with accessories from Bottega Veneta. You like?

sigh. much as I appreciate her mum’s support, there’s no two ways about it. Masaba’s a mediocre designer at best. she did quirky prints well, being one of the first off the block to do so, but not a single collection after that has been memorable. no self-respecting designer would put their name to this… sack.
another one for the talentless Bollywood progeny.
Agree,, this looks more like “master ji ran out of fabric” than designer!
She is mediocre..! Actually there’s a whole lot of related ‘designers’ on that list . The real brass of designers are on the backfoot for a while.. don’t get why.
There are so many fans on this blog for Masaba clothes. I don’t know how?
What is this monstrosity! Even an elegant dresser like Neena Gupta cannot redeem this disaster!
Is that a rose in her hair? Love!
What is this “dress” called? A long kurta with a dupatta? A two-toned maxi? Or a gown with attached dupatta? An anarkali? Does the “designer” know what to call this monstrosity?
Not sure who buys her designer clothes. One does not need brains to put those designs together
This kaftan or whatever is just so random. There were so many ways to use those two contrasting fabrics to attain better results.
I love the idea of putting rose in hair. Let us bring this style back
Shuddering at the thought of it. In the name of a new trend, we would end up seeing these bollywood and celebrity gang sport roses everywhere – at gym, airport, awards, parties, TV shows, events, wedding and what not. Let’s let the roses be.
Looks like she threw two Dupattas on her and stuck a rose.
The prints are rubbish as always. Masaba should go back to design school to learn colour and proportion.
