Mouni picked a David Koma dress for a recent Awards night. And for the NMACC Gala, she wore a Vaishali S gown.
The high-low red dress was pretty much standard fare and I’d be lying if I said it made any sort of impact on the red carpet. This might be an unpopular opinion but I thought the blue gown was visually striking and the styling choices quite interesting. I would pick that over the red any day!
I only wish when posing for the photogs, her team hadn’t pulled the train/layers up in front like that… Makes her look like a mythical sea creature, unless that’s what they intended.

I might be mistaken… but is she wearing a gajra (flowers) in her hair in the blue outfit? Looks like that in the pic to the right. If she is, that is a very odd pairing!
In the blue outfit, it almost looks like she is standing behind the outfit more than wearing the outfit.
Oh my goodness! What a terrible styling! Mouni just showed “You can buy latest fashion but you can’t buy sense of style and class. “. Gajra with that blue gown is beyond horrible.
Blue outfit looks like a sea animal emerging from a plastic choked ocean. Only to encounter a floating thrown away gajra. Apt statement for today’s world.
The pandemic seems to have given rise ito fever dreams in “designers”. Truly in strange new world these days.
She looks like an octopus in the blue thingy – spikes, tentacles and all. Not in a good way. Octopus is way cool.
The stylist and wearer may want to introspect their fashion/styling sensibilities or lack of it.
She looks pretty in the red. It would be a great dress for a Christmas party.
