Wearing a ruffled sari by Jade, Mira attended Diwali parties over the weekend. Her accessories for the evening included jewelry by Irasva and Amaris, and an Alexander McQueen clutch.
Neither the sari itself, nor the way in which it was worn is quite our cup of tea. That said though, Mira made the look work for her and that’s what counts.

She has the best makeup consistently.
Usually she does but In other photos she has way too much highlighter on.
this saree is such a disaster. she could have worn a simple one color saree and it would have been 5 times better.
designer is not always better. and what is with this deep v blouses? how are they conformable in them?
Did she, though? Mira is a pretty lady no doubt but this is an awful saree. Frills belong in children’s outfits. Period.

Mira usually gets it right but I agree with PnP on this one.
I cannot believe that this Anamika Khanna knockoff of her ruffle saree which has been doing the rounds for 2 years by several designers is actually a Jade saree! Oh the marela ruffles!
She has started dressing and looking like bollywood wives. The sari is terrible and so is the draping.
As far as fashion sense goes – I think she is aiming to be where Gauri Khan is.

These ‘jhalar vali sarees’ (as I call them) are a rage on insta n every local boutique is selling them. They are there even on Myntra. My niece got one for her in Feb’19 for her farewell..lol. These sarees look fine on teen girls who wear them for the first time. Frills n all add to the fun vibe on these teenagers. But the same saree beyond that age group looks plain silly.
I shouldn’t like this look, obviously, that saree thingie is terrible but I’m liking it. It’s probably Meera and the lovely colour..

there is something in her hair and make up that tells you she is from Delhi…It is never off the mark…. 🙂
