Mira shared pics from her Bhutan trip and was spotted wearing a Raw Mango pink benarasi coat paired with cream pants. Love the jacket and while I don’t quite like the cream pairing, I think she wanted to downplay the color given the company.

“Downplay the color given the company”…what does that imply exactly?
I assume they meant that when there is royalty in the room, they are expected to shine, wear the brightest.. but IF that was the case I dont get the kurta pick itself..
Personally I just think the pink pants are too loud when paired with the kurta so she picked something to mute them down.. in line with Mira’s own style aesthetic, not becoz of the company..

This is the Queen of Bhutan she is posing with. It is considered etiquette to be subtle when meeting royalty, especially if the Queen herself is dressed in neutral, muted colours.
I much prefer Mira’s pairing to the brand’s styling. Very classy.

Cream would have been my choice as well
Instead of cream she should have picked the color from her kurta ( muted golden brown). Cream look out of place.
I think she has paired it like a coat , the cut is different from the model and she is wearing a turtle neck with the same color as the pants .
