Changing things up, Mini wore of those sari-inspired gowns to a Christmas do in Mumbai. No harm in keeping things fresh, that’s a given. But this dress didn’t quite work. Between the color-grading, print and styling, it all looked a touch dated.

for someone who both has an eye for beautiful sarees and carries them so effortlessly, this is such a misstep — both by way of the fact it’s a faux saree (if they have to exist, let them be for those who can’t go the whole six yards) and the look of the outfit itself. that length! that design!
seriously what is this outfit. straight from the 80s?? This femme does so well in sarees, as also other outfits.. and then the hues- so oddly pieced like the designer ran out of ideas
