Wearing a Georges Chakra gown, Mahira attended the Filmfare Achievers Night. From the pics I have seen, I wish she had worn her hair up or in a braid. As is, the gown falls very flat on her. You like?

Looks really different and nice on the model, love her awesomeness and flair more than I like this look.
So happy to see here here. That aside, she has too much personality. Clothes hardly do justice to that.

Rare miss from Ms Khan. Usually she’s turned out so well.
She herself looks lovely here, but the gown looks washed out. Perhaps the fluorescent lighting is to blame? All the interesting details visible on the runway shot are rendered invisible, making the dress look featureless and dull.
Hmm that looks pretty on the runway! Maybe it’s the corset fit and taller frame of the model though. Mahira’s innerwear lines are distracting too 🙁 anyway, she is such a gorgeous lady and I like her super simple accessories!
This gown is supposed to be risqué…the whole appeal was obviously lost by trying to make it modest. Might as well have picked up a different outfit.

Structure is lost.. but i saw her Instagram pic, it’s looking unaltered, exactly like it is on model. Wonder what’s changed the event look.

There were women far from modestly dressed. Dubai isn’t conservative. find a better, real reason.
Until I read, though it’s a kurta with dupatta hanging on the side. The gown model is wearing has corsety lines. Mahira’s one look bland sequin fabric.
It’s a beautiful outfit, badly styled. She should have glammed it up with a updo and some nice earrings.
I think the location of the event/photograph bought the look down several notches. Wish the photo was clicked near a much neutral bright background. Otherwise she looks gorgeous
