For recent tapings of Dance Deewane episodes, Madhuri wore a Sukriti & Aakriti and a Torani lehenga and a Kshitij Jalori sari. The sari, of course, immediately stood out for me. Which did for you?

    • Why would they look juvenile? Moreover tehengas have cultural basis as well… in a lot of cultures, they are a predominant part of women’s wardrobes and worn by women of all ages.
Besides Madhuri looks young and fit so I dont know what your context is.

      • @Oops – thank you for pointing that out. I am in my 40s and when it comes to Indianwear I only wear lenghas because 1. I love them 2. For me personally, they are much more comfortable than saree and equally pretty. I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon 🙂

        • Haha.. I am with you, Kari. I don’t think Lehengas are juvenile at all. In fact, they bring some fun to the middle age wardrobe and many of the actresses rock them, so why can’t ordinary mortals? I say, wear what you like! I know friends who look gorgeous in short frilly dresses in their 40’s.. why not? Age has nothing to do with fashion. It’s about what suits you and your body type.

  2. Madhuri looks lovely, the clothes are understated compared to her usual style … which let her smile shine through. She should stick with this stylist.
