We had two sightings of Ms. Manchu recently in looks as different as night and day.
For a press meet, she paired her Chirag Nainani tunic with black leggings. Aside from silver bangles, white accessories that included a brooch, bow belt and sandals finished out her look. And at a more recent event, Lakshmi was spotted wearing denims and a white top. Gold-tone loafers, bangle and a pink turban finished out her look.
Now on to the nitty and the gritty. While the tunic-and-leggings look could’ve used tweaking (we weren’t big on the manner in which it was styled), between the two it was hands-down the better appearance. With the latter, don’t even know where to begin! Those denims just need to go away! Between those denims, the gold loafers and the turban, there was just way too much going on. And none of it came together well. The turban especially didn’t belong.
We love a good turban moment but, this just wasn’t it. Perhaps next time Ms. Manchu can seek inspiration from either Kalki or Jacqueline? Here’s hoping the lovely Ms. Machu pulls out the stops with her next appearance.

she somehow has a personal style of overdoing everything….and it fumbles obviously. The first look is by far better in her recent appearances.
Agree that she always tends to overdo every look.
Both the tunic & jeans need to go away !!!!
I just don’t get turbans as a fashion statement..I really really don’t

Eww that turban look is HORRIFIC. I’ll choose the first outfit over the second one any day.
