Wearing an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sari, Kriti attended the trailer launch of her upcoming movie. I wish she’d skipped that additional dupatta on the shoulder. It didn’t seem to be placed well and was more distracting.

What is the purpose of this extra dupatta? The saree is a complete garment, why do the designers think this additional fabric is needed?
She probably needed it to hide from the trailer 😛
Agree, also the look begs for some festive accessories or something to liven it up. Its so hard to go wrong with a classic saree sighting and yet this one does

Removing the dupatta and Addition of a piece of jewellery would’ve elevated this soo much more!
In this case (and some others), I am reminded of the Seinfeld episode where Elaine draws (too-dark) brows for Uncle Leo, and everyone keeps asking him, “Why are you so angry?”
It’s a lovely sari minus the extra dupatta.

The dupatta looks okay in the second pic. I think it is the placement that went wrong.
She does not need any designer. She is naturally very beautiful. Used to look lovely with Sushant Singh Rajpoot.
The duppata on the shoulder is so badly designed .. brings down the whole look.
