Taking a leaf out of her Pink co-star Taapsee’s look book, Kriti sported a custom sari dress. Some Sari purists may dislike this look outright. Me, I don’t mind a good fusion, but I just don’t like the dress portion here. I think it would look more graceful if the dress was a midi.
I really want to hear your thoughts about this look!

I agree with you, I am all for fusion but agree longer/midi length would have been more sophisticated! Otherwise she looks lovely.

Nope this looks like a bad DIY job. There is literally no Fu*ks given if the color/print/texture of the dress and sari are complementary. Just bungled together a black jersey dress and traditional sari.
Kriti is incredibly beautiful in real life, but here, the outfit makes her look like fashion roadkill which is so not fair to her good looks. Fashion is supposed to enhance, not destroy
Not a successful fusion. Don’t like the short jersey dress. The saree needed to be paired with something elegant or even something spunky and edgy. This is neither here nor there. Not to mention the pose, the hair and shoes,ugh!

Kill me if you will, but I actually love this. She carries it with chutzpah. I LOVE the blouse prtion, especially the bit that goes over the pallu. Hair, jewellery, everything on point. It’s a cohesive look and I’m on board.
