While at Mumbai Film Festival’s opening night, Kiran Rao posed for the photogs wearing what might be a Raw Mango sari. A matching brown clutch and pop of turquoise via her earrings finished out the look. Dislike the sari but true to form, Kiran owns every bit of what she wears which helps her fare okay.

Love her and absolutely love her Saree and the blouse and her effortless way of carrying it so well..
Just don’t understand the saree clad women and the ‘penalty kick’ pose.
Lol on the penalty kick…I don’t hate the saree as much as the drape.

I love the saree. Gorgeous color. It’s not draped well that’s all. Prefer this saree over the Sabyasachi that Aishwarya was wearing.

The think this saree shines too much in pictures, but otherwise, it would have a lovely shine on and off in real. She totally owns the looks and looks gorgeous
Dont think it photographed too well..but i like the saree…specially the color…
I think the saree looks awful. The drape is all off, she’s posing awkwardly, the color is dull as mud. What’s to like about it?

Its a lovely saree but as usual Kiran Rao gets a pass on her pathetic drapery. Maybe because she is arty and the chest part of her blouse is not showing?
I think its a really beautiful saree, but its much too much for her. Too much yardage and consequently draped shabbily. The design that should be at the pleats is somewhere near the back of the saree, the pallu is trailing and the blouse is awful. Here’s where a sleeveless blouse would have uplifted the whole thing. Sad. I for one would love to own that saree.

I believe this is the first Raw Mango saree that i dislike…but Kiran’s looking good…

love the saree, the color the work n the attitude of the one thats wearing it…this lady is classy n has her own style…..kudos
Wow..that is a lot of hatred for the saree, the drape and the color! I doubt this is a raw mango saree. To me this is a weavers saree and not designer at all. I love the artsy way kiran has draped it…defying all the blingy, one boob showing, run of the mill patchwork designer Sarees!
