Love the saree. Somehow it suits her personality.
I like the saree and i think she looks lovely in it..but i think that bag could have been replaced with something more fancy? something in gold may be? i mean we dont see kiran in saree that often so why not go all out once in a while !!
Because this is kiran and not kareena kapoor! People are different. As are they’re tastes!
Ohh…going by that measures..we should not expect kiran to wear sarees also..as someone else must be the brand ambassador of sarees as Kareena is for Gold bags…..

Kiran has an off beat style. A typical gold clutch wont suit her persona.. somehow the chain strap clutch goes well and the sari looks lovely on hee. She is not typical bollywoodish and that works

I love Kiran’s style! Do not expect the hhc commentator aunties to understand/respect her sensibility though. There are no shoulds in the creative field and I would apply this to the way you wear a Saree too. I would guffaw if she turns up in one of those Madhuri dixit numbers or even those unoriginal sabyas that everyone in Bollywood is taking to these days.

The saree is from Angadi Galleria, Bangalore not raw mango. i saw this saree at their store couple of weeks back.
I think the colour is really cool. I am not an Indian, but a Chinese gal who loves indian fashion and saris, but don’t know too much about them… Is it me, or does it overwhelm her? Somehow, it looks a bit messy…? I don’t know, is it the draping or the way the extra cloth is being held? At first i thought that it was because the sari is supposed to be held by the crook of the arm, but i just saw Madhuri Dixit in the post before this and the extra cloth went all the way to the wrist too, but she looked fine. Can anyone explain?
The difference lies in the weight and weave of the fabric. Madhuri’s saree is polyester net or georgette or whatever. This is, presumably, hand-woven pure silk.
