In Manish Arora
Keiynan Lonsdale, who stars in DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow, attended the Met Gala on Monday wearing Manish Arora’s butterfly gown from the designer’s Spring 2008 collection.
Totally loved seeing not only an Indian designer at the event but one whose ethos totally fit the theme!
P.S. In case you missed it, Manish Arora’s circus tent also was part of the exhibit. See below.

The circus looks nice.. very fun and playful. The dress (on a man) with a bodysuit in neon is a bit much of mismatch. Looks like a origami mess.
the next best thing to Ranveer Singh being there!
The circus tent dress is very cool!! Do not like the dress on the guy.
I love everything Manish Arora. He is true embody of campy with enough hint of Indian flavor and so much originality. Totally biased, love everything about those attires.
Agree. It is nice to see an indian designer at such an event. Wasn’t expecting. It came as a huge surprise.
Loved this circus dress when Katy Perry wore years ago. It just came after Manish Arora was heavily critizied for designing extreamly unwearable dresses when he joined Paco Rabbane.
That underneath neon is too much. But what design. Arora is always underrated. And that circus dress tho. What love. I really wish PC, DP wore it and let it work.
That circus tent screams Natasha Poonawala….she should have gone for this piece rather than the white/blue gown.
The circus tent dress is so fun! Wonder why Indian actors don’t endorse desi designers who fit the theme to a T. E.g. Deepika could’ve picked something from Manish Arora’s collection instead of being Zac Posen’s Barbie
I for one love love love ?? such a stellar example of camp!!!
Manish Arora embodies CAMP. Wonder why our Indian girls at the Gala didn’t think of wearing his creations. The Circus dress is so original and fun, it would’ve looked great on Natasha. Hope they invite Ranveer Singh next year…he is going to hit it out of the park.
