Karisma attended her cousin Armaan’s roka ceremony on Saturday evening wearing a brocade kurta and pant from Payal Khandwala with a gold bag and gold earrings. Don’t have better pics yet but from what I see, I quite like.

She looks like a butterscotch candy toffee wrapper. Payal K designs are nice and can standout on their own without a dupatta which is not easy. This kurta with the brocade fabric is not terrible but the look is not crisp here and I think the fabric and styling (gold purse) are to blame…also if you are shiny all over in the torso and legs with bare skin on forearms, it looks odd? plus with the tuxedo shirt she didnt go for necklace? I wish she wore some ruby jewelry? OR If this was churidaar style sleeves covering her entire arm (maybe in a gold tulle) with those flared pants, it would have been such a different look.

Its great to see Karisma evolve in her personal style and choice of fashion over the years. It appears to ne that she has elegance and personal comfort in mind when dressing up. Twinkle Khanna seems to have fallen off the bandwagon of late, otherwise her fashion choices was admirable as well.

Somehow this doesn’t look ok. I am a Payal K. fan but this outfit somehow looks a bit stuffy for a roka ceremony. Maybe she could have changed the top for another Payal K. top.
