Day three saw the younger Kapoor sis in a gold zardozi embroidered custom dress and jacket from Ritu Kumar paired with a gold bag and Kareena’s own necklace, one that she wore to her Delhi wedding reception.
While I like the idea of pairing the outfit with a personal jewellery, it made the look too one-toned. A ruby neckpiece would’ve made for a combination.

Jacket is too long and dress is too short , not proportionate. I think the necklace is fine , it looks like it has some maroon / dark red in it
The dress is also long but has a middle slit giving the illusion that she wore a mini dress. (I’ve seen a pic of it but not allowed to share here).
I really want to see the full length please? Do you have one you can share? The runway presentation of it was a a bodysuit, so keen to see how it was adapted.

Cannot warm up to middle slits..
I’d have kept the magnificent neckpiece and lost the dress to something in red or blue or green. ANYTHING but this gold and beige and cream and ivory and blush.
Forcing the jacket open to show the dress (which isnt even particualrly nice) is so cringe.
Idk man I actually love this look. It’s so glam yet somehow doesn’t feel ‘busy’
A little darker lip would have brought some color.

But is the incidence of wearing personal jewelry so rare that you guys actually call it out explicitly?! I just thought them being so rich and all that , that they wear their personal stuff atleast 50% of time.
Everyone is styled these days which means all of the clothes and accessories (jewellery) is sourced.
Sonam kapoor famously mentioned she is not “dumb enough” to buy all these things.

She looks exquisite. I loved the addition of personal jewelry to elevate the outfit. I agree it looks montone. Bebo makes it look regal to her credit. LOVED IT!
I think the outfit looks fabulous on her. Yes the slit is distracting however she carries it well. That necklace is heirloom I agree a pop of colour maybe rubies would have made the look a 10 on 10
